Today was the neighborhood "Chili Cook-Off" party which had a good turnout. There were so many VERY good pots of chili, but only three ribbons to be won. My chili was #3 and different from the rest. I made "White Chili" with white navy beans, chicken, green chillies, and monterey jack cheese, along with some other spices.
And the results were : *drumroll please*
A little hard to see (cell phone pic) but you can see by the tally on the score sheet that #3 (which was my chili) came in second, for which I received a red ribbon!

Your chili sounds AMAZING Geegee! I wish I could eat some! Your food was always so much better than the take-out or mac-n-cheese I'd cook for myself! hah! Congrats!!! :-D
